“Jesus said, ‘Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.’ “
The basis for the name Meeting Place Church is from the scriptural text that proclaims:
“It was Moses' custom to set up the tent known as the Tent of Meeting far outside the camp. Everyone who wanted to consult with the LORD would go there.”
- Exodus 33:7
The Meeting Place Church name was given to Pastor Vince Riley in light of understanding his role as pastor. “My role is seen in the context of a Facilitator. I simply help facilitate a meeting between God and those who need and desire to ‘meet’ with Him.”
Pastor Riley says that it is an awesome thing when we realize that the God of the universe wants to ‘meet’ with us daily. His pastoral goal is to lead the efforts to create an atmosphere conducive for this divine meeting:

OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH
The Word of God | We believe that the Scriptures of both the Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings, and divinely preserved for our generation. The Bible is God’s completed revelation of Himself, His Son, His Spirit, His will, His Truth and salvation. It is our final and supreme authority in faith and life.
